ABOUT THE CENTER FOR SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION AND STARTUP
Center for Science and Technology Application and Startup was established by the Vietnam Women Intellectuals Association in Decision No. 10/QD-HNTTVN dated October 10th, 2016 and granted the Certificate of Science and Technology No. A-1665 by the Ministry of Science and Technology No. 8/11/2016 with the following main functions and tasks:
Main Functions:
- To carry out scientific research and to implement activities to support S&T information, application and commercialization of S&T research results, support startups based S&T, innovation and technology transfer.
- To organize and participate in activities to promote the development of domestic and foreign S&T markets; Introducing S&T research, innovation and startup products of women scientists and entrepreneurs;
- To organize and implement communication on intellectual property, S&T market, innovation and startup; Professional training in the above fields;
- To Provide and disseminate technology information to businesses and farmers; Consulting, connecting start-up investment, innovation; Technology evaluation and valuation consultancy; Support surveys, seek opportunities for cooperation in scientific research and technology transfer at home and abroad;
- Consulting on technology assessment and valuation; Supporting to survey and seek the good opportunities for scientific research cooperation and technology transfer at home and abroad;
- Carry out joint venture, association and international cooperation activities according to the functions and tasks of the Center and in accordance with the provisions of law.
