Nattokinase is a product made from bacteria that affects soybeans. While other soy foods also contain enzymes, only foods made like natto contain this particular nattokinase enzyme.
Effects of Nattokinase
1- Dissolves blood clots
Blood clots in the ventricles of the heart can travel to the brain, blocking blood vessels. Nattokinase directly breaks down Fibrin fibers, furthermore it enhances the production of plasimin (an endogenous enzyme in the body that dissolves Fibrin) by activating other clot-dissolving agents such as Uroki-nase, TPA
2- Regulating blood pressure, prevent atherosclerosis
The researchers confirm that Nattokinase is an inhibitor of Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) which constricts blood vessels, causing increased blood pressure. Nattokinase inhibits ACE, so it reduces blood pressure
